Mission
The mission of the Passaddhi Vihara Support Foundation is to foster the teaching of the Buddha by building, maintaining, and administering a residential community of Theravada monastics and to impart the teachings of the Buddha and further understanding of this wisdom.
Information about Giving
Passaddhi Vihara Support Foundation is a registered 501(c)(3) charitable organization (Federal Tax ID: 99-4282176). Your contribution is fully tax-deductible to the extent provided by the law and will be acknowledged with a tax receipt as a record of your donation. At the end of the year, you will receive a summary statement reflecting all contributions made during the year.
Your generosity helps sustain essential needs such as rent, utilities, travel and other basic needs. General Support helps maintain the monastery and provides direct support to the monastics community or you can link to the special matching fund for purchasing a property for Passaddhi Vihara.
Rooted in the Buddhist tradition of dāna (freely giving), this spirit of generosity is central to Passaddhi’s vision and ensures the Dhamma continues to flourish.

Your support joins that of others in making monastic life possible in today’s world where rent, utilities, … etc are part of maintaining a monastic dwelling and where furnishings, lighting, and office supplies help make the monastery a functional space.
